³⁹ But the Lord said to him, “You Pharisees cleanse the outside of a cup and dish, but you leave the inside full of greed and wickedness. ⁴⁰ You fools! Did not the one who made the outside also make the inside? ⁴¹ Let what is inside be given as alms to the poor, and everything will be clean for you.
